I wish Blake was going to go to them. With Rafalski down and the slump they are in, they could very well over pay for them.

even if blake doesn't go to detroit, the demand for a top defenseman just increased by one. it became a little bit more of a seller's market.

I am still hoping that Blake is traded, but maybe the title of this thread should be Stuart and Modry's value just went up.

How funny would it be if Blake refused to waive his NTC and Lombardi managed to land a 1st and a prospect for Stuart, and a 2nd for Modry? Then he could tell Blake to take a hike when he re-signs Stuart in the off season. I know it's a long shot.
