About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. 2007-2008: 53 GP, 45 Pts.
2006-2007: 53 GP, 40 Pts.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it, haters.
But...but...the Kings are 30th and they weren't last year so that means they're worse.
You have to remember though, points are only relative to the rest of the NHL at a given time. These numbers prove nothing. We can be 10 points behind this time next year and in a playoff spot. That's what matters.
I'm not necessarily saying we're worse than last year but we are worse then the rest of the other teams which = dead last.
Now if only that were 45 pts through 38 games... that'd be something to write about. The Kings have two things to play for now...
1) Discovering how to win both efficiently and consistently.
2) Discovering how to be still bad enough to draft Stamkos or Doughty.
Since they probably can't do both, I wonder which one they'll do. If they do neither, well I'll be pretty ****ing pissed.
"In Other news the NHL's Los Angeles Kings are in the midst of a remarkable turn around season, last year at this time they had five fewer points, sure they are currently dead last in the league, but still it's uplifting/turn around stories like this that warm the heart and make you think a cure for cancer can't be too far around the corner..."
