Number one reason why as a Wings fan I could not watch the game...BRYAN FREAKING HAYWARD!!!! I mean with his gay lookout cookout WTF is that!!!!
I really did like the way that they just let the game play out physicality and all...and Detroit is not that physical of a team. It was nice to hear about small Johan Franzen sticking up for Hasek against good ol Neck Breaker
But it is funny as hell that people are whining about how physical the Ducks play, this is hockey, not figure skating. I'd prefer a tough team to the soft team we have to watch any day.
No argument here. The Ducks play the game as it was meant to be played-watching our cross town rivals sport a gutty gritty team only magnifies our soft, indifferent, lethargic brand of hockey.
For the record-in Blakes first 5 or so seasons he would drop and used to do well. He really was one of the premier dmen in the league and could do it all. His battles with Joel Otto are legendary. But as of late he doesnt drop and when he does he loses to Jarko Ruutu.

The *ucks are a remake of the Flyers of the 70's and 80's. I wonder if Bertuzzi would have done that against the Wild and Boogard.
Anaheim handled Boogard just fine earlier this season. That big dumb bitch tried to get revenge for what happened in the playoffs last year. He failed miserably.
Pronger is a bitch for taking on a guy half a foot shorter than him. I'd like to see him take on Laraque, Ivanans, or Boogard and we'll see how HIS face will be after.
Golden rule of fighting....pick your opponents wisely. Saying he should fight anyone of those three is like saying Dustin Brown should take on George Parros. It's stupid.
Cleary could have declined the invitation but he didn't. There really isn't a reason for anyone to whine on his behalf.

I remember May holding on for dear life.
He doesn't look so tough when not sucker-punching noted toughguy Kim Johnsson.
Jesus Christ, do Ducks players ever right someone their own size?
It must be pretty pathetic being a Ducks fan, knowing you have to cheer for such an unpleasant organization.
Yea yea, I know, HURR Stanley Cup. If the Kings were to win a dozen Cups and acted like that, I wouldn't be a fan.
What a disgusting team.
Do you ever get so tired of making bull**** remarks in a definitive manner? Hey, you want a hockey team full of nice guys I've got the team for you....enjoy.
Gotta love Heyward saying that Bertuzzi's run of Hasek was unintentional. That was absolutely laughable. He only broadsided Hasek with no one around him with full contact. Not only that, but I heard Bertuzzi did much the same thing to Harding in Minnesota in a previous game. Good on the refs for giving him an extra penalty (which Heyward whined about) for his usual douchebaggery.
Bertuzzi running into Harding in Minnesota was absolutely nothing like what happened last night. He ran Harding but was in the act of scoring a goal so a penalty wasn't even called.
