It was reported that Boyle was injured in first period during Monarch's game.

Anyone hear/know how severe the injury is?

'C Brian Boyle was hurt in the first period when a Shark fell on him in a pile-up. Boyle did not return, although he said he wanted to. He was being evaluated by doctors after the game. Morris said, "It doesn't look good."'

come on people.... 6-8 months is a JOKE. "back around christmas?" That is what we were told about Deadmarsh / Allison / Palffy. Boyle wanted to come back into the game and they said no. He didn't get his leg cut off.
