It seemed like most of the board wasn't in favor of it because while Fleury still has alot of potential, it would cost us alot, and probably wouldnt be worth it.
I think if we are going to go after a goaltender, Ryan Miller would be a great option, and would be worth the price. The guy is a top 10 goalie right now and would absolutely solidify the position.
It would likely cost us our 1st round pick, but if we could get him under an extension, wouldn't the cost be worth it? Would the Kings be a playoff team this year with Ryan Miller in net? How much would we need to cough up for him?

Buffalo has lost Briere, Drury and Campbell over the course of 7 months because they supposedly couldn't afford them. There is NO WAY Buffalo's owner lets Miller walk. Zero. The fan base would revolt.

an interesting conversation going on about Miller and whether or not he's a top-5 goaltender which pretty much immediately evolved into questioning whether or not he's even a top-10 goaltender... some good arguments in both directions.
