Keep winning Kings!
Especially when you don't know for sure if your team will end up winning the lottery. The Blackhawks won last year and I don't think they had the worst record, but a high pick is still good. I wouldn't mind getting Beech or Petro...something...something
How many of you would have rather have had a loss in the final game of the season last year vs Phoenix and have taken Kyle Turris
Or
Are you happy we won that last game vs Phoenix which dropped us to 3rd place (and subsequently 4th when Chicago leapfrogged us) and we got Hickey instead.
Would you have rather had Dion Phaneuf and lose those 4 meaninless games at the end of the season or win those meaninless games and select Dustin Brown.
I hate winning when there are potential superstar players at stake.
But it's okay.
The Kings play the Red Wings and Anaheim next week, so the losing ways should return.
Problem is.....
Edmonton will hit a wall and eventuslly lose 7 or 8 in a row... Tampa Bay doesn't look like its going to win another game until they fire their coach and Chicago is so banged up, THEY might get Stamkos to go along with Kane (how come the Kings don't get this lucky?)
START LOSING YOU IDIOTS!
Of course, this will be the season that the Kings finish 8th, LaBarbera gets hot and we win the Stanley Cup.
Hey, at least it alleviates all the negative, whiny, bitchy 'Crow sucks,' 'DL sucks,' 'Everyone sucks I'm gonna jump off a cliff this team is so horrendously horrible' crap.

BOO!! As a Kings fan, I'm happy for every win they get, not every high draft pick that doesn't work out. With wisdom like this, no wonder this franchise can't shake its culture of losing.
