When I saw the thread title that was the only Kings all-star memory that came to mind. Can that still happen or is there some kind of trade freeze this weekend?

When i saw the title i thought we were talkin about our favorite allstar moments. Mine is from Chicago stadium 1991 and the whole gulf war going on. The crowd was so loud chanting USA USA you couldn't hear the organ playing the national anthem.

I was hoping he'd play half the game for the Campbell Conference, then the 2nd half for the Wales. Heh.

BTW, he generated those 150 points the previous season, in 79 games.
Just an incredible season for Nicholls.

The next season, the season he was traded, he was ONLY on pace for 46-82-128.
No wonder he was traded.

Was a smart trade though.
I was a huge Nicholls fan and was not happy to see him go but became just as big a fan of Sandstrom and Granato.
Boy those were great years to be a Kings fan.

BTW, Kurri, Messier, Anderson, etc. never scored 150 points.
Kurri did hit 71 and 68 goals though.
Just shows that Gretzky and Nicholls had some great chemistry.

I remember when Luc scored 2 goals in the Al Star Game in Toronto in 2000. A few years later we were at a meet the players party. My buddy Luc All Star Jersey from that year and had him sign it, but I told Luc to put "2 Goals" beneath his autograph on the jersey. He wrote it and we had a good laugh.
