Sadly enough thisis the most exciting part of the season--who will we get for what we got? Lots of interest in Nagy, Stuart and even Modry for some play-off teams....I hope it comes together soon so we can see what lies ahead for '08! Cammy could easily draw us some strong "future consideration" picks!
The Three most exciting days for Kings fans...
the drop of the first puck in preaseason, the trade deadline firesale, the top 5 pick in the draft.
its really starting to look that way. got himself a bunch of guys that he knew would be trade bait come time, while in the meantime sitting in last place to get another high pick.
Why is no one intrested in trading Calder? He only signed a one year deal (right?) He was a big help to detroit as a rental, which should add to his value. If he gets shipped out, he can sign back with the Kings, just like Everyone is saying about Mr. Blake. He definintly has more value than Willsie.
I don't understand what good it does to hold on to any player yhat will be a free agent the next summer when you're the last place team. If the origional intention was to extend the guy then do so after you get at least a bag of pucks for his rental services'.
