There is no curse. The team decided that they sucked just a little too much in the last 2 weeks and ****ed up the worst record. And then the miracle #1 pick you wanted to see result from a relatively small probability didn't come thru. It was ridiculous to expect otherwise, like the hoards of hockey (and statistics & probability) retarts around here did.
No curse...just reality. I'm sure DL will find a way to make it work.
well we get to see stamkos atleast once a year when the kings play tampa. looks like we will have to tolerate another season of bottom dwelling with this club. as for myself i dont think i can listen to the front office telling us to be patient. im over being patient. we need a team now
If we need some more offense, Staal should be sitting there for us in the Second round. That is a hell of a family and I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see the Kings take two dmen in the first and Staal in the second. Sounds like a good draft to me.
Anyway, they need d-men most and they'll get the best one in a deep draft. Can't feel too bad. There's just something putrid about Tampa getting a player like that a couple years after winning the Cup.
yeah it's kind of a blessing in disguise... I was thinking that even with the first pick DL might have not taken Stamkos... he did hint at Breakfast w/ the GM that he wanted a defenseman.
And we'll know FOR SURE FOR SURE if God hates the Kings if the ducks win the cup again this June. excuse me, I think I just puked in my mouth while typing that.
