USATODAY.com - Cup contender Carolina already thinking ahead

Apparently Carolina was THIS CLOSE to trading Jack Johnson to Pittsburgh for the 2nd pick to get J. Staal. Would you have made that trade?

I really like this. I think the Kings and DL should do something like this to give the fans an insight into what go on draft day. I am, of course, really glad we ended up with JMFJ :P what a rollercoaster that acquisition was. Great job Dean! GO KINGS!

Between the Caps youtube clips and the Blues draft video, there's some fascinating stuff.

But the Blues video was truly fascinating. I've watched it a couple times since I heard about it. Recommended for all draftniks that haven't seen it yet. Pleau thought Hickey was a great pick. I still can't tell for sure, but I think it's Jarmo that whistles when we draft Hickey. And I guess that can be interpreted different ways, particularly given how high Jarmo was on Voracek, who was very much available then.
