The Red Wings announced today that they have signed forward Jamie Tardif to a two-year entry-level contract. In keeping with team policy, additional terms of the contract were not announced.
Tardif (6-foot, 203-pounds) was originally drafted by Calgary in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2003 entry draft. He played in all 80 games this season for the Red Wings’ American Hockey League affiliate in Grand Rapids.
