The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has signed defenseman Nicklas Grossman to a two-year deal worth $1.95 million ($900,000 next season and $1,050,000 in 2009-10). Grossman’s current entry-level contract was set to expire at the end of the 2007-08 season.
“Nicklas has played very well on our blueline this season and we are very excited about his development,” said Co-General Manager Les Jackson. “We look forward to his continued progress over the next two seasons.”
