What about Scotty and Teemu?

Ducks icons Scott Niedermayer and Teemu Selanne, who each delayed their retirement decisions after last year’s Stanley Cup title, only to come back at different points in the middle of this season, now face the same dilemma again. And both of them indicated they are far from making a decision on their way out of Honda Center after taking part in the last team meeting of the year.

Niedermayer already got fined 500k from last season for waiting so long, i think he'll make up his mind sooner this time

What the league ought to say to Scotty is if you don't make your decision by training camp, you will automatically be out for the 2008-2009 Season. They can call it the Niedermayer Rule since he is under contract for another year.

damn. niedermayer would have everything then...stanley cup, memorial cup, olympic gold, world junior championship, iihf championship, world cup of hockey championship, and his own nhl rule!!! bastard wants everything!
