Theodore Less than 24 hours after leaving Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Detroit Red Wings due to illness, Jose Theodore was back on the ice at Joe Louis Arena for Friday’s practice.
Theodore, who didn’t participate in Thursday’s morning skate, left Game 1 early in the second period and returned to the team hotel due to the illness.
During his press conference following today’s practice, Avalanche head coach Joel Quenneville seemed optimistic that his netminder would be available when the series resumes Saturday.
“Jose felt much better today, practiced and came out of it well,” said Quenneville. “He certainly feels much better today and we anticipate him feeling really good tomorrow.”
