Conroy raring to go against Sharks

There was no hesitation from Craig Conroy.

"Ready to roll," the Flames centre declared Monday after practice.

Conroy had missed the tail end of the season because of a torso injury but pronounced himself ready for action against the San Jose Sharks in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs which begin Wednesday in San Jose.

Conroy did not participate in all the practice drills but said he is feeling fine and probably could have played against Vancouver in the regular season finale if necessary. Instead, the Flames and Conroy decided more rest could only help the healing process.
