The Ducks announced today that they have recalled goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin from the Portland Pirates, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
The call-up was made necessary by the back spasms suffered by J.S. Giguere prior to last night's game at San Jose.
Aubin, 30 (7/19/77), appeared in seven games with the Pirates this season, going 4-2-0 with a 1.80 goals against average (GAA), .934 save percentage (SV%) and two shutouts. Acquired from Los Angeles in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft on Feb. 26, 2008, Aubin also posted a 5-6-0 record with a 3.19 GAA and .886 SV% in 19 games with the Kings earlier this season. He was assigned to Los Angeles’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate in Manchester on Feb. 8 and appeared in one game with the Monarchs before his acquisition by Anaheim.
Right. If I were you I'd be over at church lighting every candle I could, and then spend the rest of the weekend praying that JSG's spasms aren't all that much.

That's you. Me....I'm not worried about it at all.
