I have one. I bought it last month when HockeyGiant.com had a sale. Spend $300 or so bucks on equipment and get the $200 bag for free. You have to get the motor seperately. Not only is it a big, spacious bag but it works great in drying the equipment. The key is that it is all ventilated. There's mesh and/or holes in the dividers that seperates the gear so there's a good ventilated air flow going through the bag.

None of my stuff stinks at all, not that it did so much in the past. It's just good to use it to be safe.

I'll take a picture for you, BBO. I'll post it here today or tomorrow and show you what it's like with the gear inside and whatnot. It's def. worth the investment, even if you're not getting it for free via HG.com.

Aside from how well it drys the gear, I'm also curious about:

(a) whether the noise of the motor is low enough in volume for this to be acceptable in an office environment.

(b) whether the odors that emanate from the bag (when the hot ionized air is pumping through it) for this to be acceptable in an office environment.

Depends on where you go. Around $50.

As far as the noise of the motor, it doesn't make a whole lot of sound. Mine sounds the same as a plug-in cubicle air conditioner. No sputtering or anything like that that I've experienced.

Like I said before, my gear hasn't stunk in years and years. I think the last time it stunk was when I used to play outdoor roller hockey in my teen years. Therefore, I wouldn't know about such odors emanating from the bag...but I'd assume they wouldn't since the blower is more of a dryer than a fan. I reccommend it. I'll take a picture of it soon, but not of the blower...my cousin has it right now as he had a tournament over the weekend and wanted to see if it'd work in his mesh-like bag.

Just noticed that Hockey Giant has this bag on sale for $59.99 as part of a Memorial Day sale. Didn't check product numbers, but I'm assuming it's the same bag being discussed here.

Coupon code "SAVE5" might save you an additional 5%.

Yeah, they have been selling the ref sized bag for awhile. The ref's bag is about 26". The one I have is 40" and should cost anywhere from $80 (for some online deals + shipping) to about $180 in stores.

Hockeyoverstock.com is selling this for 60% off. That equals $52.00.

60% Off Shock Doctor Power Dry Bags

Code: shock0509

The deal ends Mothers Day. For those of you that do not want to buy the blower, you don't have to. The air flow pockets alone make this bag very well worth the dough. I've had this bag for over a year and I've not had to wash it once nor have I had to purchase any febreeze or any of those products for my gear. All of it is fresh (I've only washed it a handful of times) and most of all my gloves & skates have never needed any kind of cleaning.

I have one and I like it, but I'm the kinda guy that washes my stuff often anyways. Only thing that stinks is my gloves...
