About This Page: This is a discussion on Hockey Players Forum within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Anyone know any good places to play pick up in OC? Please let me know rinks and times. I can only play mornings or nights.
What level do you play? Weeknights or weekends work best?
Do you like candle lit dinners and long walks on the beach?

Ice please. Weekdays only work for me at night or super early (work 8:30-5:30). Lunches are no good, not enough time. Weekends would be best. I'd like a nice competitive pick up.

i help run a pickup tuesday morning from 6:30-8 at anaheim ice. its organized. set lines organized by skill level so you arent really stuck with players too good/bad for your liking, timed shifts, 2 minutes, then a buzzer goes and you change, guaranteed goalies and jerseys so everyone matches. its 20 bucks and you can check it out at socalicehockey.com
he does a few of these a week, usually mornings and nights. ive been doing this one for three years and i love it. its mostly the same guys that come out every week and we have a blast

I like this socal ice hockey club....Especially this,
Warm up the goalies. Don't practice your deking, the goalie needs to get a feel for the puck so shoot and shoot hard and low. Or hard and high. Or hard and, you get the idea.
