PAY up! $21/Skater daxx is going to have to call and cancel the reservation. Only 7 players have ponied up the cash. This coulod hamper us getting future dates at the venue.

I just spoke with my connection at Glacial and she said that we are on the hook for that night.
WE CAN'T CANCEL!!
she reluctantly told me that she can schedule it for a later date.
I need to give her notice soon so that they can schedule some other group in there if we bailout on that night.
We are up to eleven people that have paid. If we can get 6 more people to pay in the next day or so I will not reschedule the game. If I don't receive the $$$ from at least 6 people it WILL be rescheduled.

the good news is that we will be using two new pucks for the game.

If you are asking yourself, "Why is he going to use them for our game?". I would ask why you would want two worthless pucks lying around.
They will be in puck holders until the game so as not to scratch the signatures.
Last time we had more people paid by this time. So I didn't have to front that much cash.
I'm not trying to be annoying guys, but with the game a week away I had to make a decision.

no problem at all i know how it is, fronting $ for other people when you dont even know if they'll show blows, whats lame is that glacial just wont let you collect from everyone at the rink and pay them there

I'm sorry guys. But due to the fact that we don't have a full roster, and I just about half of the payment needed to play, I have to change the date of the game.
I know that everyone wants to play, but getting a date/time that works for everyone did not work this time.
I have been asked if we can pay the day of the event. The answer is yes. With that said, I do not want to be responsible for people who say they will be at the game and aren't. the last time we played I fronted $85 to have the game go on. It won't happen this time.
I am truly sorry guys.
The thing we have to do now is find another day to play. My contact at Glacial said we can't cancel this close to the game time. She said we have to change the date to a later one. And to be fair to the rink, I want to give them at least a week to try and fill that spot. That way they aren't pissed at us if we want to have another game and charge us the full price. Apparently $413 is a discounted rate.
Anyway guys...
What date will we have it now?
I know that November 6th was good for a bunch of people.

I just sent payment and I don't really care what day it is. I guess a Sat. would be best. It will just be cool to meet some folks from the boards again, I've been pretty dormant since the lockout, but the LGK games have usually been pretty fun to play in. I just hope I don't play as crappy as Blake did last night!
