Sitting on the bench during LGK games is a fun way to get to know each other...Also, spread the trash talk with either coach.
Goalies don't make friends. They make us wear a mask with scary graphics on it so that no one talks to us.
Although I am fine with 3 goalies and understand that we are going with three, I prefer two and there is a reason for this. As a goalie, if I have to sit out a period, that means I have been sitting on the bench for 20 whole minutes, getting cold, and having muscles tighten back up. Very hard to "get back in the game" after sitting for 20 minutes. Although I don't want to speak for HWM, we've been playing together for years now, and have talked about that "cooling off" period a lot in the past. The first goalie that plays two straight periods and then gets to go home has the best shift, as he misses the "cooling off" period entirely.
Just to reiterate though, I know why the skaters want to go with three goalies, and I knew that when I signed up, but there IS a reason why some goalies don't want to rotate.

I say coach mitchrock pulls the goaltender that sucks out loud. HWM, I may need to pull you out a period for some extra curricular locker room activity baby.

Hey goalies, we have the ice for (at least) 90 min so everbody gets sixty minutes. Although I have seen Hulkin play for over two hours and Stone Goal Killer for at least 90 min straight, so conditioniong wont be an issue with those two studs. Puckplayer was great last time too hanging in for 90 minutes with a couple of two minute breaks.
I heard Tonga get a verbal "you guys get extra time next time" from the rink manager so it might be closer to two hours. But you know how those rink managers are....
