Well I should be going down to hockeymonkey sometime this week or next to get the rest of my gear and I'm more than willing to play goal at the next game. I've played on and off for the last 10 years (at least 8 seasons of roller) but never ice so I can't promise I'll be great. I'll give it my all though.
Oh, and who was the guy in the white Ducks jersey?
The locker room is the place where the beer and the stories flow, you should have dropped by and introduced yourself. I promise not to bite... hard.
I really wish i'd have asked where the hang out would be beforehand. I/we didn't know where to find everyone. Oh well, doesn't really matter since i plan to be playing next time.
I was also disappointed with the spectator turn-out. It was my posse of 4 and like 3 others that i don't believe are even on the forums.
Good times though and thanks to everyone who played for putting on a fun show.
I'm also going to put in my nomination for Training Goalie for MVP. Haha
To be perfectly honest I really would not have expected the hangout to be in the locker room lol. So even if i had taken the time to read a sign (which i rarely do anyway lol) i wouldnt have thought to look in the locker room.

eek! dude, I always wear black... when asked if I could go 'White', well, all I had was that hideous practice jersey. (I used to play for the Junior Ducks)
Great time, guys. Thanks go out to Shaggy again for getting everything set up. Really looking forward to August, though I just know it's going to be on the weekend I'm out of town on business.
Thanks also to the man with the magic chest. Wouldn't be the same without it.
I tried to get more people there with the thread, next time I'll drag some hot chicks down to be cheerleaders, if I'm there.

Ian and his friend were cool dudes. Lentz and his Gorilla Biscuits jersey was the highlight of the night. Watti & SPJon were cool, too. And thank God Tonga was on our team. My groin was acting up for some reason. It affected my skating a little bit but the ice was in good condition. Thank God we weren't on the rink at the other end. It didn't help when (maybe savemefromtears) threw a puck in the slot while I was there and bounced it right off my ankle bone.
I felt that thing the rest of the game. All in all, it was fun. I hope to do it again. Only, next time...with 2goalies.
