So as some of you know, I snapped my shaft (and what's a man without his shaft, really?) during the pickup game. Blade is still good, wanted to see what others are using. I had that thing for a few years so not really sure what's good out there right now. Got a decently hard shot and playing D in my league this season, so need something kinda stiff and durable.
Any thoughts?

Karma to whomever can finish that.
I'd point you to modsquadhockey.com, the best site for all equipment questions, but they got hacked and will be down for a few days. The Synergy II seems to be a favorite; the Dolomite also has a good reputation. Are you looking for a standard or tapered?

Oh good, a serious answer. I realize I left it wide open, but was hoping someone might help. Thank you, Creepy Santa.
Just picked up a 100 flex Dolomite Shaft with a Kovelchuk blade. I've only had it like 3 weeks now. So far so good. I'd recomend it, however i've yet to fully test its durability obviously. It's pretty good on stiffness and i love the way its balanced, especially for a 2 piece.
Like i said he's slumped before, it appears from the past few days he's starting to come out of it. Kopi will finish with 85+ points this season, you can quote me on that.
I already gave Tonga's kid the shaft. It was snapped pretty close to the blade, I figured he could cut it and use it. It was a great stick until I broke it. (have at it)
I do appreciate the narative though. Were it an option, I would have done exactly that, without any digression, except for telling Ben to let you know how well I did
And for no reason, here's a not-so-happy looking guy in snow (I don't know why he's not happy, I love snow):
I'm sorry, but every time I see this thread sitting there, I automatically sing:
"One that won't make me sick..."
Other than that, I have nothing to add. I don't even know what stick I'm using these days. Something my teammate gave to me because he wasn't having any luck with it. My back-ups are all old and they don't make them anymore.
