Default Hockey Pants Question

Okay it is time for me to get some new pants since mine are ripped/repaired, and the repairs are ripping...plus the pads are falling out of the insides

What is the fit like for the Bauer Vapor XX Lite pants like. I found a pair of XXL online and was looking into them since they were on sale? I also found a pair of Nike Bauer Supreme 50's on sale. How do they fit? Would I be better with a pair of the Itech 6600's?

I am not a small guy, and would like something comfortable. All I have to compare with is my old CCM's and my Hespler pants.

Wow, funny timing. I just came back from HockeyMonkey, where I bought some new Bauer Supreme 70s. I'm sitting in them right now, in fact. I really like them so far.

I bought a small, but I'm on the small side: about 5'9", 150 lbs. There's a sizing chart that you can look at online, I'm sure.

...but compared to your older pants are they smaller or more roomy. Sometimes Bauer pants are not friendly to the beer gut players

I'd say they're roomier, but that probably won't help you. My old pants were these piece-of-**** Kohos that were falling apart.

Well I wound up not getting them. Went to play it again sports in Torrance, and picked up a sick pair of pro stock Easton Air pants from the Kings. Cost me 90 bucks, but they fit and I liked them better than the Itechs

i used to sport the ccm supras back in the days and couldn't find anything that was close to the fit. the new ccm's were too bulky. i ended up going with the bauers since they were less bulky and protective but allowed movement and decent protection. i was going to go with taklas because they were comfy like my old supras but they didn't have my size when i was looking. and they're a little pricy.

jetta is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up

You should just grab a pair of TACKLAs, best pant out there, you would have them for the rest of your hockey life if you take good care of them...
