About This Page: This is a discussion on Computers/Tech/Photo within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Okay... I'm getting this phone as soon as I'm eligible for an upgrade, which is Dec. 7th.
It'll run on VZW's 3G network, which is quite a bit faster.

nice phone but personally I refuse to switch to Verizon. I'll stick with my current provider until Verizon allows me to put my own content on my phone. If it's MY phone I don't want some douchebag provider limiting what I can do with it.
He shoots don't know when you checked your eligibility, they recently changed the policy from 22 months for 20. you maybe able to get one sooner than you think.
I have heard from a very reliable source they will be out in 7-10 days. will be between 299 and 349 after rebate with activation.

No! I didn't know they changed the eligibility! That means I would be eligible, now!
I'd love to take one of those home. I have the VX9900 right now (EnV) and I swear by it. The phone does everything for me!

Yeah... that is the big negative with VZW... However, it isn't something that for me personally is so crushing as to not choose their service. So far I've always liked what they give me....
My highest priority with a cell provider is coverage and dropped calls. With an LG phone an the Verizon network, I rarely, if ever (except at the 5/405 junction) drop a call or can't make one. The combination of LG/Verizon works for me so I would be hesitant to switch either.

I agree... the only place I have limited service is is here at work at my cubicle...
however... my cubicle sits in the IT dept. in the basement of a 4 story building. So I sorta understand.

does the music that you put on that phone also have to be purchased from Verizon? If so then I would never buy a multi-media phone from them at all. It just kills it for me. Just think about how much $$$ it would take to fill that sucker up.
