We have a Epson 1280 attached to an Airport Extreme. Recently, the Mac (OS 10.3) of the house stopped printing to it over Bonjour, it just sits and churns in the queue. The printer isn't stopped, it just never connects. Printing directly over USB works. Deleting and re-adding the printer doesn't help. The other machines we have (Windows XP boxes) print fine to the printer over Bonjour, so it doesn't seem like the problem is with the Airport.
Where should I go from here? Thanks for any advice.
Have you tried power cycling the airport? Just unplug it, wait a second, plug it back in, and it should come back up on the network in about a minute (or less).
Hmm, still no go with both of these suggestions (thank you for them by the way). It is now giving a slightly more descriptive "Communication error with the printer. Please reset (or turn on) the printer and try again", but still is only printing over bonjour from the Windows box. I'm going to try and borrow a friends Mac to see if that works to try and narrow this down a bit further.
Hrm, any new software installed on the Mac lately? Did you recently fiddle with the firewall? You may want to try turning it off altogether (it under the "Security" system preference) just to eliminate it as a possible culprit, though it's unlikely that it suddenly started blocking outbound connections.

I just wanted to drop in again and thank everyone for their suggestions. For some reason the 759th (or there abouts) uninstall and reinstall of the printer did the trick and it is spontaneously working again. So, yea? I always find it slightly troubling when I can't find the cause of the problems but the symptoms disappear, but at least it is working.
