It's already been released in Japan and it supposedly gets released in the US in September...

I looks like it could be pretty cool. The consumer HD cameras out now only do 1440 resolution, not 1920 like this one. Depending on the image processing it could have very nice picture. I would worry a little about the cost and availability of those mini BluRay discs. I've never seen them before.

If you haven't figured it out yet from D*, lighting and make-up are mucho important in HD. Just remember that when your "dailies" are underexposed. I don't care how white one's ass is...

There are quite a few pron titles on Blu, and that will continue to grow. One of the biggest camera rental houses in LA gets a nice chunk of their business from San Fernando Valley.
