I shall pay no attention to this thread. The only things in my HT I didn't upgrade this year were the front and rear speakers, and the TV. With my lack of willpower (when it comes to buying new gear), I shall pay no attention to this thread...
Since my front and rears are 17 years old or so, I did have an itch to replace them. Instead, I got them re-edged. Therefore, I shall not follow this thread.
As far as brands, the biggest question is budget. Then, are you looking at floorstanding, bookshelf, in-wall/ceiling.. What are you going to drive them with?
When I was patrolling the stores listening to receivers, I did like the B&W 600 series for the price.
As far as the first question, I have no idea.
I am running 17 year old JBL LX-55's and still love them.

If you are looking for speakers that are going to give you the best sound quality go to Speaker City in Burbank. They custom make their speakers and their sound quality is phenomenal.
50% percent of a speaker's accuracy is dependent on room acoustics.
better as in which type is better Aluminum cones or Polypropalene ? And I hould have mentioned that I need In Wall speakers. Something under or around $ 500

I would assume that a true custom speaker manufacturer would formulate room size, speaker placement, wall, floor, and ceiling composition into the speaker. If not, well... they suck.

I don't think that you will find anyone who will do that for under $500. If you are getting in wall speakers you really shouldn't worry too much about sound quality differences between Aluminum Cones or Polypropalene. You will not notice any. In wall speakers are not tuned for any particular harmonics like an enclosed speaker is which is why an enclosed speaker tends to sound much better than any quality in wall speaker.
