I noticed this while in Costco today. Great looking LCD at a tremendous price considering it's normally 2500+. I was tempted to buy it.

Solid deal but not that great. Figure in sales tax and you're looking at $2350 or so. You can find it online at a few places for close to that (free shipping and no tax). Not having to wait for shipping and Costco's return policy makes it a good deal but its not like you would be saving hundreds of dollars.
As a UPS driver my advise is don't buy a TV online, i hate having to bring it to your house only to find out its damaged and have to pick it up 2 days later.
Save you and I the heartache and bring it home yourself :P
Oh also, if your refering to the Costco return policy of bringing your TV back for a full refund, even after a year, they don't have it anymore. Now its just 90 days.

Good point about UPS and Fed Ex. This is a common topic at AVS.com. Only buy online if they use a proper shipping company that specializes in fragile products. I bought mine from 6th Avenue and had no problem.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not bad mouthing UPS or anything. Its very difficult to properly handle a LCD/plasma TV going through our system. Just my building alone, that 1 TV can move down half a dozen different belts or slides which means it could get caught in a jam at one point or another.
Imagine a couple hundred packages squeezing the sides of that LCD box.
Use a company that uses private freight. Their trucks have straps to keep your TV snug and in place, mine on the other hand doesn't and that TV will slide around.
