Computer help needed

I was on the Internet last night with my new laptop and all the sudden it got really slow (non responsive). I open task mgr, and cpu usage is 100%. I click the user tab and there is another name below mine. I am the only person on this computer, its brand new. How can there be another user name under mine???? Did I already get hacked?

Computer; Gateway, AMD 64, Vista, 2gb Ram, 250gb hard drive. Avg 8.0, Windows Defender, etc

Also can someone get on my PC from my wireless internet? and would that explain why I saw another user on there. Thanks guy's

what was the user name?

under processes what was running so high as to take your usage up?

its possible you got hacked but not likely.

is all your AV up to date?

Vista is sorta slow anyway.

anymore info you can give would be appreciated.

If you visited porno sites, then yes, you are probably already spyware'd/hack'd.

Also when this was happening the internet connection was showing limited or no connection.

I guess I'm just worried about that other user name that was also on there, and also when I tried to disconnect the user it said access denied.
