I wouldn't count on these computers to do much more than get on the internet and some basic computing.

Oh, I'm thinking of a purely "Surf the net box" for the house. We're running into a computer bottleneck sometimes when me/wife/kids/mom are all surfing the net at the same time.

The early reviews on the Atom processor are not all that flattering. It offers superior power consumption, but sacrifices significant processing power to get it.
