Default Budget laptop

Where do I get one? I'm used to building my own desktops and have never needed anything other than that. For as much as I know about computers I don't where I should be looking for a laptop. Here is what I know.

I prefer a dual core processor, AMD or Intel is fine
At least half a gig of DDR2
Built in 802.11 b/g
Whatever video card works for everyday use (I don't game)
Don't really care about sound
I don't need an OS or any other software so if it saves me a buck then great
30 gig HDD or so
No Mac
Refurb is fine

I'm really just looking for somebody that is mobile with a decent battery life. All of my computer intensive programs will be done on my desktop which I built less than a year ago. If it can run Office 2007 easily then it can run anything else I may install on it.

So where can I get the best deal? Newegg, mwave, amazon, tigerdirect...? Shop for a deal on ebay? Is there some obscure site for notebooks I don't know about? Help me out here.

I saw one at OfficeMax yesterday. It's on sale right now for $749.

Find an unattended one at Starbucks. That'll be the way to go for those looking for a budget laptop.

I got a Toshiba Satellite for under $500 and stocked it with budget memory and it's great.

Keep an eye out for sales or check Online Coupons | Cash Back deal forums.
