If you have a Blackberry, which one do you have and do you like it? I have the 7100I from Nextel. I do like it because I can get both personal and work related email. The web access was also necessary for work related issues. Do you like your service provider? Nextel isn't the greatest but does the job most of the time.

i was just considering getting one through tmobile, should I?
they say they have high speed internets.
I dont know....A phone provider says SPRINT is the best...a few months ago he said, Verizon was. He did a test and Sprint was the best. He said that Verizon will be using a great number of Sprint cell sites. I dont know maybe SBU will know more.
sprint - #1 broadband "coverage" (get it in most places)
Cingular/ATT - fastest broadband 3G (1mbit/s +) - still rolling out in LA
Don't know much about TMo/Vz.
i went with cingular for the phone (blackjack) and the speed. there will be full coverage eventually. I get 3G in long beach, pv, downtown la, santa monica, sherman oaks, LAX area, pomona, somewhere in anaheim... and there are plenty of other places I imagine.
i'd also recommend Windows Mobile. Microsoft is quickly becoming a force in the mobile area. WinMo 6 looks pretty cool and is coming on new devices nowadays.
If you need really a robust e-mailing device, then thats what the blackberry is best at.
My work provided a Treo 650 to me, with Cingular. Now they're asking if I'd rather have a Blackberry 8700g. I had a Tmobile Sidekick before the Treo - let me say this now - Cingular's coverage is 200 percent better than Tmobile's ever was for me.
Any suggestions? I haven't had any problems with the Treo, except maybe the volume level is too low. Does the Blackberry 8700g have a camera?

well I may be switching over to cingular. they wouldn't give me a phone for free this time. :( they want $100 bucks from me. Problem is, I love my 3000 anytime minutes plan.
But as far as a PDA/ pocket computer type, I'm looking to browse html site with it. I'm going to have to go and look at how good they do this these days.
Right now I'm thinking just keep the phone a phone and laptop for internets. I mean heck, the CRZR does email neway.

Sprint can roam onto Verizon in areas where there is NO Sprint coverage. IMO for So Cal Verizon has the best coverage adn customer service. You will get a corporate discount no matter where you are because of the local gov't accounts. Verizon has a NEW blackberry coming out next week, haven't seen ot yet buts its supposed to be as small as the pearl(ATT phone).
Pricewise Verizon is the most expensive for their data plans.
Sprinty has this real cool cell site tool on their website under coverage. It shows whats new and where they will be comng online in the next 90 days.
I would look at ATT or Sprint, If you have Nextel you can switch to Sprint w/o a terinmation fee, if you're in a contract.
I have a Treo 700w - the only thing I don't like about the Treo's is the screen is small compared to most of the others but the mobile windows software kicks the Blackberry's ass
