Default Best Program for Burning FLAC/Torrents

2 questions...

Having problems downloading Winamp so thought Id see if there is a better burning software program for FLAC files. Any tips for easy FLAC burning? I have yet to find a program that makes burning flac as easy as using Media Player although I am sure that may be sacriledge in the computer community.

Secondly and unrelated, whats the deal on Torrents? Are they universal files in that any downloaded torrent can be converted using any torrent program?

Nero will burn the FLAC files to a CD like a regular Audio CD. It also can be done with CDBurnerXP Pro which is a free ware utility (No add's or crapware)

here is a tutorial on how to do with these programs How to burn an audio CD from .flac files in Windows - Simple Help Also FLAC files usually come from Linux computers where every audio program that runs under Linux will play and burn FLAC files to CD and seemless like Windows Media Player. But te link above will help you with burning them in windows.

and torrent files are universal when it comes to bit torrent clients. all torrent clients open the same torrent file format.

Here you go How to burn AAC, M4A, M4B, WMA, WAV, Ogg to CD on Mac OS X using Music Man I will also do some more research for you as well

here is a few more programs you could use. The only problem with Mac programs is you have to buy them. Very little open source support for Mac.

also soon this program will be able to run in the Windows and Mac environment which will solve both of your needs. Amarok will read play and burn all of these formats with a click of a button ala windows media player / I tunes. It also supports just about every format including MP3's. Download - Amarok Wiki
