I have tried REALLY hard to understand Tom Waits and the fascination people have with him. I just don't get it.

I'm finding he's an acquired taste. I have Real Gone and Orphans and a few other mp3s that I've listened to on a casual basis, but after the Phoenix show I want to hear more of his music. For those of you out there that are fans what albums do you suggest I start with?
