Default Stevie Wonder!

Ya know, with all the good music taste floating around these boards, I can't understand the lack of interest in an all-time legend coming back to LA for a one off at the Hollywood Bowl.

To be fair, it's a good damn thing I subscribe to those Ticketmaster Alert emails. Tickets for the show are already on sale and I've been so busy I would not have noticed he is coming back. But I just picked up seats for the wife and I and they were decent. Could NOT be happier!

You know what? Fark all this! I seriously would like to hear what possible reasons people here are not going to see

STEVIE F#@KIN WONDER!!!

Please. I need someone to post up how it just isn't worth the money or you have to stay at home and wash your nose hair while a fuggin true musical legend is playing a few miles away. Come on- let's have it!

I would love to see Stevie Wonder. I kick myself I never saw Ray Charles or Johnny Cash; Stevie is certainly in that group that even though you may not be a huge fan youd be a fool to pass up a chance to see him.

I like some of his stuff from Innervisions & Songs in the Key of Life but not enough to warrant paying to see him in concert.

He'll be dead in a couple of years and you will really be kicking yourself.

Um, Nope

I never saw Johnny Cash (and I like him a lot more than SW) and I'm not kicking myself now

Is it in fact unfair to criticize a formerly great artist for his latter day sins, is it better to burn out or fade away?

Damn man. Just look at it! His influence is felt in just about every possible corner of pop music. And even if you don't like all of the above, his voice is still perfect! I just saw him in 2006 and was blown away. His voice alone is worth the price of admission.
