I don't think they have a song thats "most well known". They've been used on a few television shows & movies that you might recognize a song from.

If you want to sample something of theirs, I'd suggest starting with the ethereal Svefn-g-englar, which is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Or any of Staralfur, Olsen Olsen, Untitled #2 (Fyrsta), Glósóli, Hoppípolla, Sé lest, Sæglópur, Gong or Andvari. Those are pretty easy on the ears for new listeners.

oh god. i hear you. i NEED NEED NEED to get the new album on vinyl, too. i know it sounds a lot different musically from svefn-g-englar, but i can just feel how pretty it will sound already.

i went to the record store yesterday... Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust doesn't come out on vinyl until july 15th... and they said it'd be pricey because it's a double LP set... the waiting is the hardest part...
