Some of the places Guy goes to is pure heaven. Last night's show, he visited El Indio in San Diego. The wife & I are going down there just to eat lunch. I can't wait.
Cool show.
BTW, I wasn't sure if this belonged here or in the Food area. Feel free to move it.

I've caught it a few times. It is one of the *worst* shows to watch if you're hungry, 'cause nothing you're going to find to eat in your area, will taste as good as the food on that particular episode looked. LOL!
One of my old student's dad's was on the show. He is one of the cooks at Gaffey St. Diner in San Pedro. He is not the owner, but the guy in the back with the hat on. When I had his daughter, I got offered free breakfast (which I never took the guy up on his offer). I have been there and the place is insane. Good food, but now a super long wait (like 45 min on a Sunday morning at 9:00). People drove in from Phoenix because they saw the place on the food network
