****ing hell I ****ing hate this ****ing movie so ****ing much!
There were so many decent tidbits in it too (mostly Kevin Spacey scenes) but the overall flick
That movie does not need to be remade, it needs to be redacted from the collective memories of all who witnessed the absolute horror of it.
It is... by far... one of the lamest films I have ever seen.
And Superman is geigh. No amount of "darkening" is gonna make him cool. His "aw shucks" uber good guy routine does not play to a contemporary audience.

Well I agree that the movie is awful in all ways...
but I disagree with your take on Superman.
There are plenty of people who have done fantastic work with the character despite that tired complaint.
The characters qualities mean that the creative team handling it have to work harder than say... the Punisher or Wolverine or any of the other "grrr I'm so angry and dark and tortured" characters.
Cynicism is a crutch. Heroes should represent qualities that we aspire too...
Sorry Doc, but there is nothing cool about superman...
Seriously! Superman sucks. First of all his costume is lame, secondly he's immortal and doesn't feel pain so when he fights humans he has a massively unfair advantage. It would be like me fighting a two year old only no one would call me a hero.
Wait... do you mean Returns was a reboot? Cus I know that...
Or did you mean they're going to re-re-boot it as if Superman Returns never happened... because that would be AWESOME.
