As a matter of fact whenever there is an Avantguard/experimental/ industrial/noise/10,000 pigeonhole IDM/EBM thread guess who is making it? yeah thats right, gescom, hatter, adgy or puckman.

I also saw Ministry on the Land of Rape and Honey, and Mind tours as well as Psalm 69 but as gescom so elequently put it Al isnt Al anymore.

I've had dinner with Al and sat and talked with him and Tibet and Stapleton at a club in LA and have nothing whatsoever against the man it's just high time he dicks off ministry.

As far as There wouldn't be an NIN without Ministry you may want to go and check out ReSearch's Industrial Culture handbook and read up on names like Zev, Cazzaza, NON, and Throbbing Gristle and then school yourself on Skinny Puppy bitch.

by the way i have every Hypo Luxa & Hermes Pan release which includes Acid Horse and PTP and Lard and Pailhead and 1000 H**o Djs... and i absolutely thing NIN is a piece of s*** band who (also LIKE Ministry) required Adrian Sherwood to manufacture its breakthrough sound.

Let's check out my "extensive resume" that I listed that poor you was FORCED to read. I started off with a blurb about seeing Skinny Puppy (the fathers, not grandfathers but fathers of industrial music) to rebut your argument about us being pretentious jazz loving snobs. Then followed that up with another rebuttle to your rebuke about us and stated who the people around here are that you can look to for the information about that genre of music (oh shivers what a dick I am). Then I let you know I wasn't always a Ministry hater and have seen them on multiple tours and even had the pleasure of a couple times sitting down with various peoplpe in that particular music scene. Then I give you a nice little resource information JUST IN CASE you may want to find out more about the real roots of industrial music seeing as you are siteing Ministry as the reason there is a NIN (ugh) and other contemporary "industrial" acts. (By this point you just must have been so angry at me for being so pretentious in my advice. God Forbid!) And where Al didn't do anything to HURT that , and he did LOADS to ADVANCE that he wasn't the driving force BEHIND it (oh is this annoying you?) Finally I quoted ges about cds I own, once again legitimizing my arguments. See that is what you do when you make a post. You legitimize instead of just talk smack off the top of your head. Or at least that is what I would think but clearly I should just follow blindly. I'll keep that in mind and seeing as this is a discussion forum I better just keep my opinion , whenever negative and interfering with your sacred opinion, to myself.

As far as the negativity slam goes, **** it, I call **** as I see it and if you don't want to read my insight then put me on your ignore list. Simple really.

P.S. I enjoy my general body of work on this site and the majority never has been negative at all.

Ministry is like the Simpsons. Everyone dug them but then they hit a dry spell and have since rebounded somewhat...but the praise never really returned because everyone remains in the mindset that they suck. Also, two guys going to see Patton and Zorn should not be bagging on a guy who has allegedly exhausted his creative resources.

in their defense, i think they were stating that Al has exhausted the creative resource called Ministry... not that he specifically was done.
