I'll be there along with the wife. If anyone wants to meet up before, pm me.
Jesus and Mary Chain did the same thing before they played Coachella. I can't find any info on either site but if anyone finds anything out please post. I'd love to see them there.
There were still tix available this morning but I couldn't find anyone to go with me. That is going to be a great place to see them, I hope to see a full report. Hopefully they'll do a tour later on and play some small venues, kind of like the Jesus and Mary Chain did last year playing the House of Blues.
i have seen Love & Rockets more than any other band with the exception of Depeche Mode, and i have never NOT seen them play Dog End.... they don't perform No New Tale To Tell all that often, really. in fact, i have seen them perform Waiting For The Flood more often.
the one song they always play from Earth-Sun-Moon is Mirror People, and it's usually the slow version.
Looks like I am late reading this thread. I would totally be there. I am so pssed. I was 14 at the Dodger stadium concert. It was too awesome and yes, they opened for he Cure. That was in 1988? Wow...we are old. I am so impressed at all the fans in LGK. I new you all were cool. Yey! I saw David J with Concrete Blonde at the Coachhouse a couple months ago. She is amazing and if you were there, I was the girl she flipped off. Oh God, i've said too much! Thanks to Dave for starting the thread.
