Lentz? Dave? Anyone else going?
Lineup is half good, half rubbish.
I can't imagine seeing a band like Gorilla Biscuits in a large outdoor venue though.
I may have
<--- old school sXe'r (thats uh, not sxe anymore hahahahaha)
I saw one of Strife's first shows.. damn.. that didn't seem like that long ago. I still got the red vinyl 7" too
H2O! Ignite! GB!!!!! I remember seeing Civ a long long time ago and they busted out with that Buzzcocks remake GB did and that place absolutely flipped the **** out. I think it was a Warped Tour maybe 1st or 2nd one.. No Doubt was at it, thats old that was.
LOL there's a band called Set Your Goals and they are playing with GB hahahaah thats funny as hell
If this bill was 13 years ago or so, oh man.. epic.. nowadays tho.. they still got it or what?
UGH and I loathe pennywise.. coulda kept that name off.
I'm not into festivals. I love GB and all, but I'll either wait to see them in a small venue or remember how good they used to be back in the day.
Best show ever:
Gorilla Biscuits
Insted
Reason Believe (last show)
Down By Law (First Show)
Triggerman (sucked then, sucked in their prime & will always suck)
Country Club in Reseda Dec. 1990
SICK. I remember them all... and even Triggerman... and yes, they blow. they dont even suck. Insted and GB were my top bands besides Youth of Today and Bold as an honerable mention.
Down By Law is the *****.. Dagnasty was too Dave Smalley FTmf'nW!!!
and just to add --> "ALL!" best song ever written hahaha

That was the first Warped Tour. That was the best one. It was Civ, Quicksand, Sick of It All, Deftones, Orange 9MM, L7, No Doubt (just before they got huge), Sublime, No Use For A Name & others I can't remember.
Sublime, L7, NUFAN & No Doubt all sucked. Quicksand, Civ, SOIA & even the Deftones kicked major ass! I had a good time. It was in 95.
That was the only Warped Tour I attended. Now they just cater to KROQ & gay punk.
Yes, Dag Nasty ruled, but Field Day sucked monkey balls.
I'm not a big ALL fan. This may be blasphemy to some of you, but I think they suck. Descendants were a lot better.
Fenders Ballroom in the summer of '89 had this line up:
Youth of Today
Judge
Bold
Gorilla Biscuits
Quicksand
I liked ALL when smalley was in it. I think it was the Decsendents link that made me like them because, of course, Descendents were much much butter.
Field Day I didnt even bother listening to. Good choice I see.
Yeaaahhh Judge, they had the best t-shirt haha I loved that thing. They had a bad ass logo.
I went to Warped II also but I hated it. i think goldfagfinger played and I got into a fight defending someone at that one hahaha I actually renounced my sXe "crew" that day too because they all sat and watched me fight 2 on 1, not cool. Good lord that was lifetime ago.
dammmmn wish i coulda been at that fenders show tho with the bill listed below. i woulda flipped out..

true stuff there.
I recall having to suffer through a warped tour with EMINEM in, I believe, 2000 just because Leatherface was possibly going to play...and they ended up not playing...heartbreaking really.
Ultimately, that's my problem too. Given that I saw GB two years ago at the Glass House (which while huge, felt rather small that evening - GB filled it nicely) I can't imagine seeing a band like them or Strife in a venue like that.
The crux of the problem for me is that I have no idea when/if GB will play out here again.
I'd rather shoot myself in the ****ing face than see Aquabats or H20.
dave and dave, please go, but not just for the music, but to sit at a hardcore festival and talk hockey with a kid that will be standing behind a merch table in the heat for hours.
