disclaimer: i haven't seen juno, so i have no opinion on it...
BUT, OP saw it, posted about it in the "last movie seen" thread and basically said the same thing you did in less words. there, you two have something in common.

(does she even go by that name? as in, is that the name she is credited by in the movies? whenever i read about the movie, they refer to her by her stage name.)
anyway, i mentioned brook diablo cody busey-hunt because i think if you knew going into it that an ex-stripper of the alternative variety wrote it, you ought to have known what to expect... chick centric, pseudo witty fluff.
as for crash... i didn't think it was a POS, but it wasn't anywhere NEAR deserving of all the pomp and circumstance it received.

If you were not insulted by this movie then you aren't self aware (at the very least you are very gullible). They create this character and try to pass her off as some sort of moral and intellectual progeny. They do this by having her talk the way that she does. They do this by passing her off as having a mature taste in movies and a sophisticated taste in music. Oh no....Juno would never listen to Brittany Spears! Juno is too smart for that.
Ok, so if that is true then why was this super intelligent 15/16 year old dumb enough to get knocked up? Why did she even start dating her dimwitted boyfriend? Are we supposed to overlook that and just sit back and accept her snarky remarks about all of her less than sophisticated peers?
you got around to seeing it?!?!? Sweet. That movie is great on so many levels.
ya. i actually saw it a while ago. hubby dvr'ed it off of hdnet and at first, i thought "what the hell is this movie i've never heard of?!?!" but it was quite a gem. i could watch it over and over again. great story. and for the guys: TONS of naked lady bits.
