What's also amazing is they wrote those songs when they were 15/16 yrs old. However, Roland & Kurt decided to start a Mod band called Graduate. They sound a lot like The Who, Lambrettas, Purple Hearts and throw in some Small Faces as well.

Great album. The 12" remixes of some of those songs are pretty nice also.

One of the very best first albums, like Boston's, ever made. I always loved that CD and just added it to my Zune.

"Mad World" amd Pale Shelter" are by far my fave Tears for Fears songs. Great band back in the day.

I had that same import single of "The Way You Are" in my college days when it first came out. Those were my two favorite TFF songs ever. I've been thinking about picking up a copy of "The Hurting" lately. I think you just inspired me to do it!

Dave, we must be the same age, as I was also listening to that record in 7th grade.

"Mad World" was used brilliantly in the film Donnie Darko.
