Nice artwork...gonna have to
Awwwwwwyeaah. Gonna head to Golden Apple next week to see if I can pick that up.
As for the Fin Fang Foom movie...it'd be a Fin Fang Flop.
Sorry guys, that was the best I could do.
I always kinda thought that FFF was a little too much "fantasy" injected into a comic book that never really struck me as overly fantastic...rather more science-fiction-ic. Probably better ways to explain what I mean, but whatever.

How can you say that wouldn't make a good movie?!?
BTW, that Favreau Iron Man book is two issues in now, so make sure you pick up both. Unless the new came out this week, in which case it'd be three. The TPB comes out in early December.
And if you dig the artwork by Granov, check out this:
Does this need to be my first Blu-ray purchase? I've got a player on my PC (which is hooked into my HDTV), but haven't been sufficiently motivated to start buying movies again after finally kicking my DVD buying habit.

Yes, Wolvie.
And pick up The Godfather Trilogy while you're at it.

I heard (on AOTS, I think) that the Blu-ray set is fantastic, but it's harder to justify converting a perfectly good DVD collection that I can upconvert and can only watch on a 32" TV at present.
OTOH, I don't own Iron Man in any way, shape, or form and I do feel the need to. Plus I have a Best Buy gift card I've been sitting on for ages (because I hate Best Buy and because I haven't been this motivated to buy anything they have for a long time).
But I'm not just listening to Jimi. I hear Jimi. Thanks for the advice, and I do plan to follow it.

The DVDs look like ****. I've been saying that since they came out a few years ago. I was skeptical about The Godfather restoration until I saw a screening. It was a few months after that (and some hints from Nasti Marvasti ) it was announced for home video consumption.
I just pre-ordered The Dark Knight and Band of Brothers on Blu on Warner Bros' own site for $76.92.
If someone I know, a friend of a friend really, wanted (theoretically of course) to purchase a large volume of Blu-ray movies at a respectably competitive price... what are m- his options?
I used to buy large numbers of DVD's through Deep Discount during their major sale events. Anything like that, or are Blu-rays still riding high in price across the board?

You could send this link to said person. This is where one goes to here about Blu-ray deals and what not.
