Oh My God! Change the radio station!!
That SONG will be stuck in my head for weeks!!
That's how this thread started. I accidently heard a few bars of the song while flipping the dial and I COULDN'T freaking change the station. I don't know what it is about this song...maybe it's the idea of hope...of dreams...of wondering why he's asking a bunch of lads to come sail away with him, but it's one of those cheesey songs that I can't get out of my head. I like it like I'm a beat down dog that keeps coming back for more, knowing that I'm in for pain, but I might get a scrap of food.
(? just off the top of my head- later we should get a Journey thread started like this one and continue to ponder exactly why it is we can't shake lousy tunes from lousy-ass bands from our collective heads)
BTW- Styx was my first concert ever. Grand Illusion tour. Go figure.
