Since we like some of the same stuff musically and other folks are into music I thought I would share this band:
(I don't know if they have already been talked about here and I missed it, but I don't think they have gotten any major airplay or press over here yet......)
The Rifles. A London band influenced by the Jam and the Clash. I think they put out one of the better releases in 2007, It took forever to find the disc and then when I did it was in heavy rotation in the CD changer.
I snagged it from the used bin at Amoeba, it was still $15.99, I can only imagine what it went for new. It may still be an import.
And yeah, I know what someone is bound to say "Downloading dude." But I still like the thrill of the hunt and spending a couple hours in a shop looking for cool stuff.
