In a press release that's sure to make both my wife and daughter super pissed off, they've made the decision to split book 7 into two films releasing in November 2010 and May 2011.
Makes good business sense, and I'm sure the fans who're pissed off about having to wait 6 months will be happier with the end result. That's a lot of story to wrap up in one film.
Cool, they should have one that with Order of the Pheonix too. I wish they would have brought Curon back to direct though. I don't suppose anything could be worse than that POS Goblet of Fire...
I'm wondering at what point they'll split it? That book is so ... up and down... up and down....
Would make sense to end movie 1 with the Silver Doe, start movie 2 with Xenophilus Lovegood. Although I think since most of the action is in the back of the book, they may push movie 1 through the escape from the Malfoy Manner, and start movie 2 at the Shell Cottage.
