I still have no idea how they're going
with the first movie telling the story of J.R.R. Tolkien's original book and the sequel dealing with the 60-year period between The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring, the first part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
WTF?

I still have no idea how they're going to prolong that book into 2 movies.
Are you kidding? Look at all the plot points:
- Unexpected party
- Trolls
- Misty Mountains
- Meeting gollum & finding the Ring
- Riddles in the dark
- The Goblin King and the escape
- Escaping the wolves
- Bjorn
- Gandalf Departs
- Mirkwood
- Great Spiders
- Caught by the elves
- Escape from the elves
- Finding the door
- Bilbo meets Smaug & "burgals" something
- Lake town/Bard kills smaug
- Battle of the 5 armies
- Thorin's death
- Journey home
and that's just off the top of my head not having read the book in a few years.
My friend, you've either been watching too much hockey, or have been listening to too much ABBA.
