And for those on the right, just ignore the Clinton part of the story.
No offense to Mrs. Clinton, but the President has actually done his fair share to fight some of the worse parts of the Muslim world than keeping an eye on every wacky court case

You're both missing the point. Morality is a personal scale and makes NO SENSE when applied at the community, state, country, or continent level.
Sodom & Gomorrah were leveled because not a single person was worth saving.
Yes, the Armenian Genocide was terrible. Yes, lashing a rape victim seems cruel. What do either of these two have to do with the price of tea in China (or oil on the commodities market, have you?)
I get what they are saying, they are saying the U.S. only condemns acts that other nations perpetrate when they dont have a vested interest in that nations government and finances. Just look at Africa.
Actually, it was Dems who led that charge. Bush was against it for strategic reasons. (And yes, Clinton did it too.)
Yeah, I know. I was actually shocked, since they actually put their political interests away to do something that was actually good. Maybe they can do that with this Saudi Arabia deal. I only doubt it though since Oil will be involved.

But that's the thing--it wasn't against their political interests. It very much served the Dems' political interest to make Bush look bad.
