Default Scott McClellan burns the Bush

In a rare thread start from me I thought I'd this story. It seems there is yet another Bush Admin insider who seems to have a few "observations" about what was going on during the run up to war. However, to what I am sure is everyone's surprise he has a new book out! What a shock.

White House 'puzzled' by ex-spokesman's book bashing Bush - CNN.com

The CNN report on the same.

It appears that the White House is shocked that someone would 'betray the presidents trust' by revealing the Bush White House to be a nest of liars that obstruct justice and conspire to violate the Constitution.

Dana Peri "It's sad-it's not the Scott we knew."

A former staffer said: "It's really weird! It's not supposed to happen. I don't know how the blood tests that reveal the genes confirming that all the Bush faithful are sociopaths and congenital liars could have missed this. It's part of the standard screening process for all employees and it's worked pretty well! Sheesh!"

**** Mc Clellan (or anybody in the administration for that matter) for not having the balls to step up and "burn the bush" before the war ever began.

Maybe but the fact that CONGRESS when for this is probably the biggest crime. I pretty much blame everyone in Washington for this debacle.

As a conservative, he's following the traditional path, and that's the one blanketed in cold, hard cash.

It was okay to lie when the paychecks were good back then, and now it's time to come clean now that the money is ripe for the picking.

Republicans controlled both legislatures at the time meaning they headed every committee having to do with military intelligence and foreign relations. Not to mention, if you voted against giving Bush his executive power to attack Iraq as a Democrat and you had an election coming up, you would have been destroyed by political fire from the majority Republicans as well as fellow Democrats throwing you under the bus as well as the overwhelmingly patriotic lapdog mainstream media which has just recently started to find its balls on this issue. Actually scratch the media finding its balls. They hopped on the bandwagon of public opinion faster than a Duck fan in the spring of '07.

This is right on the button. But don't worry everyone, there is only two hundred and thirty-something days left in this inept administration. What else could go wrong??? Well, maybe it's better not to think about that.

Ari Fleischer is now saying McClellan is "inventing facts". This must be true as McClellan did work for Bush.

Fleischer

With all these idiots saying who did what who can you really believe. Perino got into the act yesterday also...but then again she doesn't know what the Cuban Missile Crisis was. I just love the fact such competent people are running the country. I feel safe.

I really don't care about the who said what anymore. The Brits, U.S., Jordan, etc. all had the same intelligence, and they all believed Iraq had WMDs. Saddam overplayed his hand and this is the result.

It's definitely been a mess. I don't think this country should ever enter another conflict without a declaration of war from Congress. After all that is what it says in the Constitution. This authorizing the President to use force is a lot of BS that just allows senators and representatives to backpedal at a later date.

Oh...but...911 changed everything...including how govt is run here. I guess we can now assume that Harry Truman's "the buck stops here" is now "the buck stops over at that other guy".

Well to be fair, we haven't "declared war" since WW2.

That said, Bush ****ed up royally on Iraq.
